When switched on (E/A button), the light level set at potentiometer 3 (“Start value”) is selected and maintained. Pressing the E/A button again switches the lighting off. The “Bright”, “Dark” and “Stop” buttons allow individual brightness adjustment. The convenience of this control method lies in the self-holding function. A simple tap on ‘Bright’ or ‘Dark’ triggers an automatic dimming cycle in the respective direction. If you press the ‘Stop’ button, the current light level is maintained. Pressing the ‘DIA’ button recalls the brightness level set on potentiometer 1 (‘DIA value’).
Potentiometer 2, ‘Fade time’, allows the fade time to be set within a range of 0–30 seconds. The fade time is defined as the dimming time from 0 to 100 per cent. A typical standard value here is 5 seconds. Dimming using the function buttons always takes place with the set fade time. The analogue value is output without delay when switching the light on or off.
