Summer season 2021 with new facade lighting

For the start of the 2021 summer season, the facade of the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz glows in a new lighting design

The existing facade lighting made of halogen luminaires was in urgent need of energy refurbishment due to its enormous energy consumption. 'Light Fashion - Switzerland, Austria' developed new RGBW LED facade luminaires with radio components. These luminaires were to be similar in design to their predecessors – but unlike the old existing luminaires, they were to be able to immerse the facade in a world of coloured light depending on the motto and occasion.

The specifications for the lighting control tasks

According to the client's wishes, the existing cabling was to be retained. Under direction of our cooperation partner 'Light Fashion - Switzerland, Austria', we were able to realise the scenic facade lighting. The special feature of the new facade lighting is that the custom-made RGBW LED facade luminaires are controlled by our new ISYwireless-ISYGLT-01 radio module.

Furthermore, we control the interior lighting (entrance hall, bar, Enoteca as well as two other restaurants, corridors and staircases), the roof lighting and the entire exterior lighting with park terrain, fountains, flags, pathways, etc.

A total of 38 luminaires - divided into 7 groups - are controlled. Quite easy to operate via Touch-PC or Wall-Touch.
