The CLS-06T Light Control Unit is a convenient solution for lighting controls with standardised 0(1)-10V interface for source and sink operation. The interface can be loaded with 20mA and is used for direct connection of dimmable fluorescent lamps with ECG 1-10V or LV halogen lamps with 1-10V transformer. A hybrid relay switching output with a load capacity of 230V, 1500VA, 6.5A is also available for the analog output. This is optimised for ECG loads by a special zero-crossing circuit and guarantees a safe mains circuit for dimming. By using additional power dimmers, a wide variety of applications and power classes can be realised. The basis of the control unit is a digital, future-oriented multiprocessor technology, which guarantees easy to operate functions and extremely safe operation.
With this control unit, the following functions are available for a dimming circuit:
Up to 6 buttons/contacts (24V) and 3 feedback signals (24V) can be connected to the control unit. 2 potentiometers are available for setting the "switch-on light value" (Einschaltwert) and the "fade time" (Blendzeit).
Functions can be called up either via a pushbutton panel, single buttons or potential-free contacts.
Thanks to its universal logic, the Light Control Unit can be used for different operating modes. These can also be combined with each other at any time.
This variant is available for fixed value settings (e.g. exhibition lighting, basic lighting,...). When switching on (I/O button), the light value set on the potentiometer (switch-on light value) is called up and held. By pressing the I/O button again, the lighting is switched off.
When switching on (I/O button), the light value set on the potentiometer (switch-on light value) is called up and held. The "brighter" and "darker" buttons are used to change the brightness in the respective dimming direction for the duration of the button press. By pressing the I/O button again, the lighting is switched off.
Short pressing of the button activates the lighting and dims to the light value set at the potentiometer (switch-on light value). If the button is pressed longer, the lighting starts to dim in one direction (from bright to dark or inverse). The dimming process stops when the button is released or when the corresponding end value (minimum or maximum) has been reached. By pressing the button again, dimming takes place in the opposite direction.
Higher-level control interventions are possible via the central on (100%) and central off functions. Thus several groups can be switched on or off at the same time (e.g. central control panel at the gatekeeper). A 24V output is available to indicate whether the lighting is still on.
With the potentiometer "Blendzeit" the fade time can be adjusted within the range of 0-30 seconds. The dimming time from 0 to 100% is defined as the fade time. A typical default value here is 5 seconds.
