Light Sensor DNR-LS with RJ10 connection cable for the DNR-LC Controller. The DALI Light Sensor is used for daylight-dependent control of a lamp group. Furthermore, the DNR-LS has an integrated motion detector and an IR receiver for the "Lightgate Basic" IR remote control.
The sensor only works in conjunction with the ISYnet DALI components.
The DNR-LS DALI Light Sensor is used for daylight-dependent control of a lamp group. The sensor only works in conjunction with the ISYnet DALI components. The Light Sensor is connected to the Light Controller DNR-LC via an RJ10 plug. The operating mode and switch-off delay time are set via a free smartphone app.
The integrated motion detector switches the lighting according to the optional operating mode. The following operating modes can be selected in the smartphone app:
- Automatic mode: automatic switch-off and switch-on
- Semi-automatic mode: automatic switch-off, manual switch-on required
Function of the sensor
Attention: The sensor works with all DNR Touch Controllers and DNR Clock Modules from version 2.00!
The sensor is automatically recognized by the system (DNR touch controller or DNR clock module) when it is connected to the BUS. No settings in the app are necessary.
If the system detects the sensor, the brightness of the light source in automatic mode is not controlled by the circadian curve of the app, but is regulated by the sensor to the stored light value. In automatic mode, the colour temperature continues to come from the circadian curve stored with the app.
If you have set a circadian curve with brightness value with the app, this brightness value is ignored as long as the sensor is connected to the system.
Motion detector
The motion detector of the sensor is treated by the controller like an external sensor of the system. The function of the motion detector is set in the app of the system. It is also possible to operate external motion detectors and the sensor's motion detector together on the system. The light control also works when the sensor is deactivated in the app.
Remote control
IR remote control "Lightgate Basic" (rotary switch position 0)
[Auto] shortly...... Switches the system to automatic mode
[Man] shortly ....... Switches the system to manual mode
[0] shortly ............. Switches the system OFF
[1] shortly ............. Invokes scene 1 (manual)
[2] shortly ............. Invokes scene 2 (manual)
[3] shortly ............. Invokes scene 3 (manual)
[4] shortly ............. Invokes scene 4 (manual)
[1] press and hold (5sec.) ....... Saves actual state as scene 1 (only if system is ON)
[2] press and hold (5sec.) ....... Saves actual state as scene 2 (only if system is ON)
[3] press and hold (5sec.) ....... Saves actual state as scene 3 (only if system is ON)
[4] press and hold (5sec.) ....... Saves actual state as scene 4 (only if system is ON)
[Up] shortly .......... Dims 1 step brighter
[Down] shortly ...... Dims 1 step darker
[Up] press and hold .......... Dims brighter
[Down] press and hold ...... Dims darker
[Up + MAN] shortly .......... Dims 1 step warmer
[Down + MAN] shortly ...... Dims 1 step colder
[Up + MAN] press and hold........... Dims warmer
[Down + MAN] press and hold ...... Dims colder
IR remote control "Lightgate Basic" (rotary switch position 1)
Button functions are same as for rotary switch position 0, but additionally hold button [AUTO] and double-click the button [0] at the same time to call up the setup mode of the sensor for saving the light value (otherwise triggered with the sensor buttons).
The desired brightness can then be set with the [Up] [Down] buttons. If the setting is not changed for 30 seconds, the measured light value is stored as the setpoint.

Sensor Buttons T1 / T2
Invoking the setup mode:
Press button T1 or T2 for at least 1 second: Sensor enters programming mode (red sensor LED blinks quickly). The indicator LED for automatic mode also blinks on the Touch Controller or on the Clock Module.
Now you can dim brighter with button T1 (short pulse dims only 1 step brighter) or dim darker with button T2 (short pulse dims only 1 step darker).
As long as you are in programming mode, you can also dim with the buttons/sliders of the Touch Controller, the remote control or the Clock Module.
If the brightness value is not changed for 30 seconds, the value measured at the light sensor is stored as the setpoint for light control. The Controller then changes to automatic mode. The sensor LED switches on permanently (indicates automatic mode).
