The LED Dimmer was developed for the control of LED lights with constant current. It can also be used for LED stripes/tiles with a voltage-controlled DIMM interface. This makes it possible to control the brightness of the LEDs between 0 and 100% absolutely flicker-free with a dimming resolution of 12 bits (internal resolution at DMX operation).
OVERSAMPLING error correction: With the so-called "OVERSAMPLING", the dimmer automatically corrects the jumps in the dimming values caused by the cycle times of the BUS system. For this purpose, the dimming values between the BUS cycles are converted into the resolution of 12 bits for the cycle time by linearisation. This avoids, for example, flickering when controlling LEDs via a potentiometer via a BUS interface.
